What inspires you?
I’m inspired by prints, architecture, talented people and colors. Talent is the sexiest attribute one can have, you know.
Who is your rolemodel and why?
I don’t really have one.
What is the most annoying thing people do on buses, trains and subways that makes you want to tell them off?
OMG. The most annoying? I mean, there are SO many annoying things to choose from. I think being really smelly is one of them. And if I’m having a bad day then loud stupid music coming from a pair of headsets 15 seats away from me is also really bad.
If you were gay which actress,singer,famous person would you have a crush on?
Oh.. it used to be Rihanna, but then she went and messed everything up when she made that stupid song with Chris Brown (I don’t mind that she made a song, I just mind the type of song when it comes to lyrics and stuff). So now I’m back to the boring answer that is Angelina Jolie. I mean seriously, just look at her properly. Study her face. She is p-e-r-f-e-c-t.
Where is your dream destination for holiday?
Oh. I love travelling. Out of destinations I have been to then NYC is by far the best. Out of places I haven’t been to then Tokyo is definitely a dream destination.
Whats your favourite blog?
Gah, I knew this one would be hard to answer. I have favorite blogs in different categories, but I don’t really have an all time favorite one.
Something that you hate doing?
I hate doing projects with people I don’t agree with.
What was your first nail polish that you remember?
I remember a yellow Nivea. I have no idea if that was my first one, but I remember it from years and years ago.
When did you first experience the joy of nail polish?
When I started the 30 day challenge last fall. It was really fun to be creative and to be challenged. I figured out who I was in nail polish that month. :-)
Which white nail polish do you think is best when doing nail designs?
The Norwegian brand TL Design has a white one called Norway. Loves it!
Don’t you ever experience shrinking with Seche Vite?
I do, but it’s not so bad. It’s still my all time favorite top coat and it’s a tough one to beat. If you wanna try a very good second place one, then go for Linda Johansen and her top coat. It’s really really good and the shrinkage isn’t that much of an issue.
Are you getting any of the Minnie Mouse polishes from OPI?
Nah, they are too cute for me.
– your three best tips when it comes to nail polish (for instance about application, where to buy, what not to do, etc.)
Always wrap the tip it to stay pretty longer. Buy nail polish online; my favorite shop is transdesign.com. Never start painting before you’ve gotten yourself a drink, put on the tv show you want to watch while painting and made sure you’ve done your bizniz in the toilet. Having to do stuff after the first coat is really annoying. Always use a base coat and a top coat. Don’t speed paint – take your time, flooded cuticles are not pretty.
– if you had to pick ONE nail polish as your absolute favourite, which one would it be?
I think it would be OPI DS – Extravagance.
